Refund and cancellation policy

Citation offers a free account and an optional Pro subscription. The price, billing period and any eligible trial are shown before you confirm a subscription. Review those terms and the payment confirmation for your purchase.

Creating a free account does not itself start a paid subscription. Usage limits still apply to free accounts.

Open Billing in workspace settings and use the billing portal to manage your subscription or cancel renewal. Review the confirmation and the effective cancellation date shown there. Closing a document or signing out does not cancel a subscription.

If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, the subscription remains available until the displayed end date, subject to the service terms. Cancellation stops the scheduled renewal; it does not by itself issue a refund for a payment already made.

An eligible account may receive the trial shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews into the paid plan described during checkout. Use Billing to check your trial end or renewal date and any scheduled cancellation.

Do not rely on a reminder to manage renewal. Check the dates and terms shown for your own subscription.

Send a request to alptekin@citation.co using the email associated with your account. Include the payment date, a receipt or invoice reference if available, and a brief explanation of the issue. Do not send your full card number or card security code.

We review requests individually, including the circumstances of the charge, service access and applicable rights. This policy does not promise an automatic refund, a fixed eligibility window or a guaranteed response or processing time.

We will communicate the outcome of the review. If a refund is approved, the payment provider and your financial institution affect when it appears. A refund request alone does not cancel future renewal; manage cancellation separately through Billing.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies that apply to your purchase. Where applicable law requires a particular remedy, those requirements take precedence over this policy.
