Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is Citation free to use?

Yes. Create an account to start writing, adding sources, and checking your work. Monthly usage limits apply.

Do I need a payment card?

No. You can create an account and use Citation without entering payment details or starting a paid subscription.

What can I do with a free account?

Write and edit documents, organize sources, format citations, get writing suggestions, and check passages against accessible public web sources. Source additions, writing messages, and similarity checks have usage limits.

Where can I see my usage limits?

Open workspace settings and look for Your usage to see your writing message allowance, remaining messages, and current usage period.

What if I need a higher usage limit?

Contact hello@alptekincan.com to request a manual limit review. A higher allowance is not automatic, and there is no paid upgrade checkout.

Can I export my work?

Yes. Export your draft as DOCX, PDF, or TXT, or download your bibliography as BibTeX or RIS.

Are citation styles included?

Yes. Choose from APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE, Vancouver, AMA, and ACS. Chicago supports both author and date citations and notes with a bibliography.
