Import reading highlights and notes into a new draft

Overview

Import a Markdown or TXT export, or use a configured token connection to select a book and import its highlights. The connection requires an existing Readwise account with API access.

How to get started

Connect an existing Readwise API token, select a book and import its highlights as a new draft.

Open integration settings and choose Readwise. Review the available actions and any setup guidance. Imports are previewed before you save selected references or a new draft.

Availability

Use file import through integration settings. Account imports require provider setup and your permission. Check settings for current connection availability. Live account access has not been verified.

What to expect

Import one selected document at a time. Review formatting after import. Changes do not sync automatically.
