Overview
Import a Word manuscript or export a Citation draft as DOCX. The optional local companion can preview selected text in Word and insert plain text citations or a bibliography after your selection.

How to get started
Use the Citation companion inside Word, or import a DOCX manuscript and export a Citation document as DOCX.
Open integration settings and choose Microsoft Word. Review the available actions and any setup guidance. Imports are previewed before you save selected references or a new draft.
Availability
DOCX exchange is separate from the companion. The companion requires a secure Citation address and installation in Word. Native host validation is still pending, and it is not published in the Office Store.
What to expect
The companion requires installation in Word and a Citation sign in. Review text before inserting it. Advanced document formatting may differ during DOCX exchange. Changes do not sync automatically.
