Choose the workflow for your paper
MyBib is a bibliography and citation generator with broad style support. Citation is useful when the next step is writing the paper around those references and keeping the sources connected to the draft.
Start with a representative section of your paper and the sources it needs. Compare the reference work, revision process and actual delivery file before changing the workflow for a complete project.
Decide whether the bibliography is the whole task
MyBib is designed to build citations and bibliographies. That can be enough when you already have a writing workflow and need a reference list. Choose based on your next step rather than the number of styles in a marketing headline.
Citation adds the source record to a continuing document. Insert a linked citation when you quote or paraphrase, then return to the record if its author, date or edition needs correction.
Develop the argument around the reading
An organized bibliography does not decide how the sources relate. Outline the question, compare the relevant findings and use the evidence to develop each paragraph. Citation keeps the writing and saved records in one workspace.
Ask for a focused revision and compare it with your original meaning before applying it. Review the source again if the suggestion changes a qualification or adds a new factual statement.
Move references without assuming a live connection
If your existing project provides an eligible RIS or BibTeX export, import it and review the records. You can also add the original works by URL, DOI, ISBN or title. Keep genuinely different editions distinct.
Imported records are copies. Later edits in MyBib do not automatically change the Citation draft. Check the citation connections and the exported paper before making it your working submission copy.
Keep exploring.
