Move a Google Docs draft into Citation through DOCX exchange

Overview

Download your Google document as a Word file and import it into Citation. Export your draft as DOCX to continue in Google Docs. Optional account access can import a selected Google document when configured.

How to get started

Connect Google to choose a document, or use File, Download, Microsoft Word in Google Docs and import the DOCX file.

Open integration settings and choose Google Docs. Review the available actions and any setup guidance. Imports are previewed before you save selected references or a new draft.

Availability

Use file import through integration settings. Account imports require provider setup and your permission. Check settings for current connection availability. Live account access has not been verified.

What to expect

Import one selected document at a time. Review formatting after import. Changes do not sync automatically.
