Obsidian
Move selected notes as Markdown or use explicit actions with the local companion.
Import a note
- Open Integrations in Citation settings and choose Obsidian.
- Select a Markdown or TXT note from your vault using the file import action.
- Review the imported draft before saving it.
This imports the file you select. It does not browse or synchronize the rest of your vault.
Use the companion
The local companion requires installation in Obsidian. It can copy a selected passage or note for an explicit clipboard import into Citation. Copy using the companion first, then choose the clipboard import action in Citation.
Clipboard access happens when you request it. A copied note must be reviewed before you save the import.
Send a note to Obsidian
Use the available export action to download Markdown, or prepare a new note for the vault you choose. Review the destination and content before opening the app link. Large notes may need the Markdown download instead.
The exchange creates or imports selected material. Later edits do not synchronize automatically.
