Exchange reference files and bibliographies with EndNote

Overview

Use EndNote reference exports to bring citation details into Citation. Export a bibliography from Citation when you want to take those references back to EndNote.

How to get started

In EndNote, export references using the RefMan (RIS) output style, then import the file here.

Open integration settings and choose EndNote. Review the available actions and any setup guidance. Imports are previewed before you save selected references or a new draft.

Availability

Use the file actions in integration settings after signing in. This workflow exchanges selected files and does not connect to your provider account.

What to expect

Reference files transfer citation details. Attachments, collections and live sync are not included.
