Import citation files you export from Google Scholar

Overview

Use the citation export beside a Google Scholar result to save a BibTeX or RefMan file, then review and import its reference details in Citation.

How to get started

In Google Scholar, choose Cite, then BibTeX or RefMan. Save that citation file and import it here.

Open integration settings and choose Google Scholar. Review the available actions and any setup guidance. Imports are previewed before you save selected references or a new draft.

Availability

Use the file actions in integration settings after signing in. This workflow exchanges selected files and does not connect to your provider account.

What to expect

Google Scholar has no supported public search API. Citation imports files you select and does not scrape Scholar.
