Choose the workflow for your paper
EasyBib provides citation generation, writing suggestions and paper checking. Citation suits a workflow in which the full draft, source records and review decisions stay together as the paper develops.
Start with a representative section of your paper and the sources it needs. Compare the reference work, revision process and actual delivery file before changing the workflow for a complete project.
Compare more than the reference list
EasyBib includes writing assistance alongside citation generation. Decide which part of the process needs help: looking up references, improving a passage or keeping source connections throughout a complete draft.
Citation lets you save a source, insert its linked citation and revise the surrounding paragraph. A source correction can then be reflected in the references connected to that record within the document.
Keep feedback tied to the claim
Use writing feedback to solve a specific problem. An unclear sentence may need a structural change, while an unsupported conclusion needs better evidence or a narrower claim. These are different editorial decisions.
In Citation, compare the proposed revision with the original and the saved source. A public web match can prompt a quotation or attribution review, but it does not establish originality or cover every private source.
Check what a bibliography export contains
A bibliography exported to a document is not necessarily a file of structured reference records. Use an eligible RIS or BibTeX export when available, or add and verify the original publications individually.
Import an appropriate draft file, reconnect the citations you need and inspect the finished DOCX, PDF or TXT. Keep an original copy until you have checked formatting and reference details in the destination workflow.
Keep exploring.
